A few weeks back, I spent a Saturday doing a few engagement photos for Janet & Terry who's wedding will be coming up this year. Unfortunately is was super cold & windy outside, but we managed. We hung around Queenston heights for a bit before heading to a few of my favourite spots in the area. Minus the wind & cold, we had a blast shooting and I can't wait for the big day.
Recently I had a client approach me to do some shots of butterflies, what better place to take them than the Butterfly Conservatory. The shots the client requested were nothing like what I wanted to do, but the client is always right. However, this is my blog and I can post what I want so here are a few shots that I like from the day.
If you have no ties to hockey at all than you may not be aware of this, but the Town of Lincoln has been nominated as one of the top 10 finalists in the 2009 CBC/Kraft Hockeyville. You can find out more about Hockeyville by clicking on this LINK . So what does the Town of Lincoln get if they win, among other things $100,000 in arena renovations and a pre-season NHL game. So go to the site, click the vote button, and we are off to the races.
I spent Monday with the Cudney's; Jessica, Jenison, Mason, & Spencer down in Niagara On the Lake. They wanted to do a late present for their parents Christmas gift, so we went down to old town for a few shots. These guys were amazing, I couldn't have asked for a better bunch to work with. I most warn you all too, I had a lot of fun with post processing on a few of these so they are a little more "artsy" than usual. Here are a few shots from the day/night, hope your parents enjoy them.
Last Tuesday I had the opportunity to shoot some pre-tournament "World Junior" hockey at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton for the HHOF/IIHF. As much as I would love to be up in Ottawa shooting the entire tournament, this will suffice. Anyways, here's a few shots for ya'll to browse at your discretion.
